SUMMARY:First Round 2026 Alabama Statewide Math Contest
DESCRIPTION:The Statewide Math Contest, sponsored by the Alabama Council of Teachers of Mathematics, was created to stimulate interest in mathematics among all students. This contest recognizes the achievements of outstanding mathematics programs and students.\n\nIn the first round, Feb. 28, 2026, students take written tests at one of eight regional sites.  Auburn University at Montgomery is the regional testing site for District VI, hosting students from Autauga, Barbour, Bullock, Chambers, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, Russell, Tallapoosa, and Wilcox counties. The AUM Math Department has hosted this test for more than 20 years.\n\n
