SUMMARY:Second Round 2026 Alabama Statewide Math Contest
DESCRIPTION:The Statewide Math Contest, sponsored by the Alabama Council of Teachers of Mathematics, was created to stimulate interest in mathematics among all students. This contest recognizes the achievements of outstanding mathematics programs and students.\n\nThe second round is a “ciphering” (Jeopardy style) tournament held this year at Auburn University at Montgomery. This tournament is by invitation only based on the results of the first-round team comprehensive scores.   Outstanding students from all parts of Alabama will be on AUM’s campus to participate in the ciphering round of the Statewide Math Contest on April 18, 2026.  This is the first time for the AUM Math Department to host this contest.\n\n
