Nomination deadline nears for Athletics Hall of Fame

AUM Athletics is currently accepting nominations for its 2026 Hall of Fame class. The nomination deadline is Friday, July 11.

Athletes who made outstanding contributions in athletics as students at AUM, coaches of AUM’s intercollegiate teams, and other individuals making significant contributions to AUM Athletics are eligible for membership in the Hall of Fame. Nominations may be submitted online. View the full list of Hall of Fame members and bylaws.

In order to nominate a former student-athlete, he/she must have received significant recognition in at least one sport, completed their athletic eligibility at AUM by the 2019-20 season and have graduated from a four-year institution. For coaches, he/she must be at least five years removed from coaching at AUM.

Faculty/Staff Dodgeball Tournament promotes teamwork

Students compete in a dodgeball tournament at the Wellness Center.AUM Intramural Sports and Student Affairs will host a spirited Faculty/Staff Dodgeball Tournament on Wednesday, July 9, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the AUM Wellness Center, promoting teamwork and campus engagement.

This free event is open to all AUM faculty and staff, offering a fun, competitive way to build collaboration and camaraderie beyond the workplace. Teams will face off in a lighthearted setting that fosters connection and school spirit.

Students are welcome to attend and cheer on their favorite faculty and staff teams in a playful celebration of AUM pride.

Board members also serve as ambassadors for the university, helping to advance alumni engagement, support student success, and promote AUM in the community and beyond.

Candidates must be a graduate of AUM or have earned credit towards one of its degree programs and be a member in good standing with the AUM Alumni Association.
