Submissions to Common Thread

Common Thread is accepting submissions from AUM students, faculty, and staff for its 2026 issue. The deadline for submissions is December 31, 2025 and all submissions should be sent to [email protected]. This year, the Common Thread editorial team wants to showcase the creativity and diverse voices of our AUM community. Our magazine is a collaborative space that foregrounds local creativity, honors our past, and envisions a future grounded in resistance, change, and collective growth. At the heart of this issue is community and an invitation to create together, to celebrate one another, and to capture the role of collaboration in shaping who we are. Our cohesive thread that ties the 2026 issue together will come from the voices of our contributors.
