Lt. Gen. Andrea D. Tullos is Commander and President, Air University, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. She provides full spectrum education, research and outreach at every level through professional military education, professional continuing education, and academic degree granting. She leads the intellectual and leadership-development center of the U.S. Air Force, graduating more than 50,000 resident and 120,000 non-resident officers, enlisted and civilian personnel each year. Additionally, she is responsible for officer commissioning through Officer Training School and the Reserve Officer Training Corps.

Lt. Gen. Tullos entered the Air Force in 1991 and received her commission through Officer Training School as a distinguished graduate. She is a career Security Forces officer and has previously served as a staff officer at the combatant command, Joint Staff, Air Staff and major command levels and as the Director of Security Forces, Headquarters U.S. Air Force. She has completed multiple command tours at the squadron, group, wing and numbered Air Force level.

Prior to her current assignment, Lt. Gen. Tullos was the Deputy Commander, Air Education and Training Command, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas.

GREGORY M. LEIN was raised in Huntsville, AL, and attended Auburn University, where he received a bachelors’ degree in Wildlife Science in 1991, and a masters’ degree in Fisheries Science in 1995. During his career, Greg has worked as a field biologist in the southwest and southeastern U.S., working with rare and endangered mammals, amphibians, and fish.

Greg has worked within the Conservation Department since 1996, where he helped with the Forever Wild Land Trust to buy new conservation lands for public recreation and unique wildlife habitats, and served in an administrative role in the State Lands Division. Since 2012 Greg has worked in the Conservation Department’s State Parks Division, where he serves as the Director of State Parks.  Greg and his family have been residents of Montgomery since 1997.

Lee Sentell, reappointed by Governor Kay Ivey in 2022 as director of the Alabama Tourism Department, has overseen tourism revenue growth in the state from $6 billion in 2003 to $22 billion in 2022.  This is his sixth term in the Alabama Governor’s Cabinet.

Under his leadership, the department has pioneered yearly campaigns spotlighting such diverse themes as small towns, the arts, barbecue, natural wonders, birding and the Alabama Bicentennial celebration, winning the national industry’s coveted Mercury award six times in 12 years.  Most recently, their U.S. Civil Rights Trail campaign received the International Travel and Tourism Award for best regional promotion at the World Travel Market in London, becoming the U.S. state tourism agency to be honored.

Previously, he was the first director of marketing at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville and recruited the first 100,000 students to Space Camp.

Sentell has served as a board member at the Alabama Historical Commission, Alabama Humanities Foundation, Alabama State Council on the Arts, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Rosa Parks Museum, Encyclopedia of Alabama and the space museum in Huntsville.
