MA, PhD, Auburn University
Bio: Dr. Fox joined the AUM family in fall 2016. He serves as Director of the Warhawk Academic Success Center (WASC) and is a member of the History Department. His passion for teaching and helping students inside the classroom led him into the arena of student success and retention. Christine Cash
Tutoring Services Manager
Bio: After graduating high school, Christine attended Huntingdon College here in Montgomery where she majored in art and psychology. She later received her Master’s in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Eastern Michigan University. For the past seven years she has been an ESL Instructor at AUM. She and her husband have three children, all of whom give her ample opportunities for teaching and learning every day.
Growing up, she often interacted with people from other cultures through her father’s job. This fostered a love of not only learning about these cultures, but also supporting others’ growth through teaching. To Christine, it’s very gratifying to witness a student suddenly understand a concept they had been struggling with. She believes these moments create confidence and motivate students to continue putting in the work it takes to be successful academically.

Chanell Davis
Associate Director
Bio: Chanell Davis has worked at Auburn University at Montgomery since 2011. As Associate Director, her goal is to create and implement events and programming that encourage academic excellence and increase student retention. As a first-generation college student, she is fully aware of the obstacles faced by first gen and underrepresented students and is truly committed to assisting them in succeeding in and beyond the classroom.
Chanell holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreational Therapy and Master of Education in Physical Education from Alabama State University. She is also an AUM alum with a Master of Education in Sports Management.
