State of Alabama Day at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) connects students and alumni with state government agencies through a day of career development and networking. Launched in Fall 2024, the event offers opportunities to meet agency representatives, explore jobs and internships, and learn about state careers.
This year’s event will run from 9 a.m.–2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 13, across AUM’s campus and will feature:
State of Alabama Mobile Workforce Unit: Located on the Quad all day, with state personnel assisting students in applying for open positions.
Career Fair: Held in Taylor Center 221–223, where agency representatives will share information on careers and internships.
CareerFest on the Quad: Hosted by Student Affairs and the Career Development Center, featuring free food, games, and a chance to win one of three $100 AUM Bookstore gift certificates.
Employer Symposium & Luncheon (invitation only): A catered networking event linking AUM leadership with state professionals recruiting for internships and full-time roles.
