Minor in Army ROTC

AUM offers Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) programs for two service branches: Army and Air Force. Those enrolled in the Army ROTC program may choose the Army ROTC minor to complement their selected major field. This minor is part of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences.

Army ROTC focuses on preparing young men and women for the challenges of leading today’s Army. Army ROTC  is a college elective course program taken in conjunction with the regular classes in a selected major field, plus other general education requirements students need to earn a commission and enter the military as a Second Lieutenant.

As part of Army ROTC, you will be part of a diverse group of individuals with broad interests–individuals who are student leaders, presidents of student organizations, and members of academic honor societies.
