He emphasized applying Economic theories to real -world issues. His research explores International Finance and the Chinese Economy, and his current research focuses on the effects of Fiscal spending and income inequality in the United States. His work has been published in reputable peer-reviewed journals such as China Economic Review and Journal of Asian Economics among others.
