Join the Department of English and Philosophy as we celebrate the National Day on Writing with a campus-wide event dedicated to the power and playfulness of the written word!
On Monday, October 20th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the Taylor Center Rooms 221-223, we’re transforming writing from a solitary task into a communal celebration. Dive into hands-on, interactive stations designed to unlock your creativity:
- Craft your own unique chapbook-style journal to capture your ideas.
- Create stunning blackout poetry by finding new meaning within existing text.
- Test your knowledge and have a blast with our interactive game, Lyrics or Literature?
This event is for everyone—students, faculty, and staff are all invited to participate throughout the day.
Fuel your creativity with a complimentary taco bar from Noon – 2:00 P.M.! Plus, don’t miss your chance to win fantastic prizes; be sure to grab a raffle ticket when you arrive.
