The RISE STEM program is a collaboration between select institutions in Alabama and Michigan through a grant from the National Science Foundation. This program offers scholarships to both undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in select STEM fields, with a focus on financial need.
Along with financial support, students in the RISE STEM program will also gain the skills, opportunities, and resources needed to thrive academically and professionally. Through this program, AUM can offer scholarships to undergraduates majoring in Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science in amounts of up to $10,800 annually. AUM RISE STEM students can move to a partner institution and receive funding for graduate school, depending on the discipline and acceptance.
