Welcome back, Warhawks

AUM’s campus was buzzing with energy and excitement on Monday as many of the university’s 5,000-some Warhawks began Fall 2024 classes.

We caught up with some of our new and returning students to learn more about what’s motivating them and exciting them as a new academic year begins.

AUM’s Welcome Week continued today with a variety of events planned for The Quad, Taylor Center and other campus locations, including Silent Disco (tonight, 6-9 p.m., Taylor Center 230).

Calling all new students!

New to campus? Learn what it means to be a Warhawk at our 2024 New Student Convocation on Friday, Aug. 23.

All first-time students will meet in Taylor Center at 9:30 a.m. for a procession to the Athletics Complex for the start of the convocation ceremony at 10 a.m. The annual tradition offers a great way to connect with your new classmates and enjoy food and a few surprises.
